I am now a card carrying owner of my own business card.

Bam! I design business cards now.

I'm suddenly a total business woman.
And I design them for others too. Here the one I made for Filmmaker Coral Aiken:

get them while they're hot....

La Revue, in Review.

I was sitting at my computer capturing images from the La Revue, the film by Coral Aiken and Eve Majzels that we shot in Winnipeg Last Summer, for Coral's business card when I found this.

I'm not normally that into this kind of kaleidoscopic effect, but with these colours and the deep blacks of the floor, the reflection makes the whole thing look glassy. And the background is just insane. Maybe I'm just excited to see Danielle Morgan (the Cinematographer) and Katherine Scharhon (the star in the foreground) in New York this weekend. Or maybe I'm just trying to distract myself from last night's election results. Either way, this picture rules.

It's so beautiful. What does it mean?.....

Amongst the raccoons, opossums, mice and moths, that usually make up our local Animal Kingdom, these little devils have emerged over the past week to take Little Portugal by storm.

I know rabbits are kind of sluts, but here would they even find Walruses to mate with this side of the 401?

Ice Cream People

Dear Readers,

I know you are few and far between, and that you likely have better things to do with your time then cruise in internet for things I might like. But never-the-less, I am extremely disappointed in you all for not alerting me to this digital marvel sooner. It's a combination of the two things I love the most in the world: Anthropomorphism, and Ice Cream.

Behold: the Ice Cream People.......

This discovery will very obviously change my life for the better.

The Fall Colours

Spotted Wednesday, outside the People's Mall, a group of adorable schoolgirls photographing Toronto's natural wonders. Among their subjects: a homeless man.

I can't help myself; I love these toilets. It's like the the white toilet seems to be reaching out to the pink toilet with its flusher. So romantic!(?) In spite of my better judgment, I'm considering using this image for my business card.

Skeleton Crew Quaterly.

Let me introduce you to my friend Ryan Pratt and the Skeleton Crew Quarterly.  The SCQ is a music review platform from which Ryan writes poetic reviews of upcoming and often undiscovered albums, devises incisive yearly best of lists, and tweets wildly. It’s become my primary source for music journalism, and to return the favor I made a design for the site's banner. He asked me to do this about six mounths ago, and after multiple distractions and a couple rough attempts, I'm finally finished. So here goes my first attempt at graphic design:
